"I have been attending training sessions since last summer and have
found them to be very helpful. Having just completed Wendy's marketing
class, I look forward to participating in your FASTRAC program starting in January. WBCNA
provides wonderful opportunities to those of us who are involved in
small businesses. Thank you for all you offer to small businesses and the community!"

"I cannot begin to express my appreciation for the professionalism and kindness that you extended to me on my visit to Huntsville. From the point of returning my call in a timely fashion and meeting with me to discuss my business ideas, to inviting me to attend the WBCNA monthly Lunch & Learn.... my expectations were exceeded. The speakers were exceptional and increased my professional development and knowledge. As I prepare to relocate to the Huntsville area, I am confident that this networking opportunity will provide the groundwork for a smoother transition. I look forward to working with you and the WBCNA in the future."

"I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all of your help and expertise. After being turned down by numerous lenders, you came to the rescue. By taking the time to carefully examine my business needs, you helped me plan and implement a strategy to succeed. You also gave me additional resources and contacts that I would need as I started my business. I firmly believe that without your assistance, I would not be in practice today. Thank you again for providing me with the necessary resources to make my new clinic a reality."

"I have been a client of the Women's Business Center for the past six months and I would like to take a moment to express my sincere thanks for all the assistance and support that I have received. I have attended several of the monthly Lunch and Learn meetings. Every meeting that I have attended has been relevant and extremely useful to me and my business. I have included many of the things I learned into my current business and into my business plan for future endeavors. I have made numerous contacts at these meetings and have obtained clients and business associates from the many educational and networking opportunities that are provided. Of all the many benefits that I have received during the time of my affiliation with the Women's Business Center of North Alabama, I must say that the one that stands out is the FastTrac Entrepreneur Class. The instructors and business counselors for this class are outstanding. They were always available to assist the class and they generously shared their time, talent, and expertise to ensure that each class session was a success. They worked hard to ensure every participant obtained their goals and their expectations for the class were met. Many participants shared that participation in the class made preparing the business plan less of a daunting and overwhelming chore and more manageable and obtainable task necessary for success. Prior to this class, I struggled for nearly three years to get started working on a plan, but never seemed to make any progress. The excellent curriculum and detailed structure of the FastTrac class enabled me to start and complete a business plan in just 10 short weeks. I also attended the follow up class 'Listening to Your Business' and learned about preparing and implementing a strategic 3 year plan. Now when I meet with individuals regarding my business, I feel more confident, prepared, and empowered by the knowledge that I obtain from the classes and from my research while preparing the business plan. I have received multiple compliments on my business plan and I can attribute that to the business plan and strategic planning classes and the counseling and training I received at Women's Business Center of Alabama. Participating in the class has been one of the best investments I ever could have made in my business. I cannot adequately express how much I appreciate how you have helped me. I am overjoyed to know that there is a trusted and dependable source for information and assistance with my business available whenever I need it. The Women's Business Center of North Alabama, including their employees, volunteers and Board of Directors, truly has a heart for helping small businesses and it shows in the excellence and diligence in all the services they provide. Again I say thank for all that you are doing to help small businesses."

"As a stay-at-home mom trying to start my own business, I need a lot of assistance navigating my way through the maze of the business world. The Women's Business Center of North Alabama has come to my rescue on many fronts. First, I took the loan clinic at WBCNA and ended up getting an SBA Community Express loan from Redstone Federal Credit Union. That has enabled me to further pursue getting my product, the Baby Dipper bowl, to market completed the 10-week FastTrac course this winter and learned many things from the course material as well as from the invited speakers. Additionally, the networking opportunity with other entrepreneurs provided encouragement and support within the group. "
"I also met independently with Hilary Claybourne, a WBCNA business advisor, who has given me much support on various start-up topics. She even recommended that I enter the Baby Dipper bowl in the DaVinci Inventors Competition at the Huntsville Museum of Art this spring, for which I was chosen as of one of the finalists, receiving a merit award. I very much appreciate the WBCNA and all it can do for me. I hope to have many more opportunities to give and receive help through the wonderful network enabled by the WBCNA."

the steps to long-term growth. Joanne along with her team of experts and
coaches really care about your success and it shows in the personal
attention and sound advice they provide. I could not have asked for a better
experience."
