Marketing Through Social Networking & the Internet:  Is it right for my business?

Women's Business Center of North Alabama (WBCNA) and the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce (HACC) have partnered to help small businesses in Morgan County.

On Thursday, March 11, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Melody Tholstrop, will be the guest speaker on the topic of  Growing & Expanding Your Business Through Social Networking & the Internet

Melody will teach how to use the social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, LinkedIn, Blogs, Etc. and other Internet opportunities to put your business out in front of people, how it works, how to set up accounts, proper etiquette and best strategies for using these sites (such as whether to set up accounts as a business or as an individual, using Fan Pages, Notes, Tagging, what type of messages to send, how often to send messages, how to maintain the sites in an efficient manner so that it doesn't become a full-time job...

Through this partnership you will have the opportunity to make an appointment and meet with a Certified Business Coach before or after each Lunch & Learn.  These appointments are very limited, so please call the Chamber as soon as possible to secure your appointment.  Here is the schedule.

9:00a-10:00a        Business Counseling Appointment-Filled
10:00a-11:00a      Business Counseling Appointment -Filled
11:00a-11:30a      Set up for Lunch & Learn
11:30a-1:00p        Lunch & Learn Program (with 30 minutes included at end to network
with other business professionals)
1:30p-2:30p         Business Counseling Appointment -Filled
2:30p-3:30p         Business Counseling Appointment-Filled

The cost of the Lunch & Learn is $5.  Reservations are required.
