Working with the Women's Business Center of North Alabama is like having a team of financial, marketing and sales experts on call. At my first meeting, Shannon Drake reviewed my potential customer list saving me time and money with her knowledge of those businesses and how they would be a match to my services. At my second meeting Elizabeth Diehl helped me set up my financial record keeping and how to be in compliance with Alabama laws and regulations. Each time I visit the WBCNA, I leave with additional information that has immediately made my company be able to make giant strides in growth and product delivery.

The WBCNA has been invaluable to me as I started my first consulting business. I have attended several classes and Lunch & Learn sessions. I also met with a business coach and a veteran's business advisor. The Women's Business Center of North Alabama has given me the confidence and tools to make my business successful.

King Electronic Packaging (KEP) has found the WBCNA to be a source of quality information for new and expanding companies. I have used the services; including networking opportunities to help me continuously focus the mission of the company and to validate our early vision. These services are mostly free and that is an invaluable resource for a company without a lot of money. Rocket City Sitters has benefited greatly from the WBCNA.  We received invaluable feedback from the business coach who reviewed our business plan.  The monthly Lunch and Learns always feature relevant topics presented by experienced speakers.  As as added bonus, the elevator speech we get to present has increased our word-of-mouth and helped our business grow.

Thanks to the WBCNA for their outstanding support and mentorship as I considered, planned and launched my company. Without the sound advice of my business mentor, Hilary Claybourne, I doubt the company would be more than an idea in my head. Not only has the WBNCA provided exceptional mentorship, they have also provided great training and networking opportunities.
